Travel Idea: Escape to the Sunshine Coast (Australia)
Australia is a big country. So big that it’s very different from North to South. In fact, Australia is generally divided in 3: the tropical part, the mountain middle part and the south one.
It’s not about which one is the best, they all are very good but very different.
If you like very hot temperature and burning sun, you’ll like the tropical part for sure. Just make sure you go there in winter: you’ll enjoy 30° or more temperature and a good sun whereas if you go in summer it’s raining almost every day.
If you are more a city man, you’ll head to the South of the country, in Melbourne, Sydney or even Adelaide.
Finally, if you’re a hiker, you’ll go to the centre of the country and enjoy big and long hike paths.
Though, if you are everything at once or nothing in particular, you’re lucky enough to have found this article: the perfect way to enjoy the 3 part at the same time is to go to the Sunshine Coast.
The Sunshine Coast is in the Eastern part of the country and has many famous areas in here, such as Fraser Island (biggest Sand Island in the world).
Thus, sand between your toes, the sun on your back, fish and chips by the water, the babble of a rainforest stream and crisp mountain air are the elements of a Sunshine Coast Holiday.
The coast begins at Caloundra, just an hour’s drive north of Brisbane in Australia and extends to Cooloola, the gateway to Fraser Island.
It takes in tranquil hinterland including the Glass House Mountains, Blackall Range, Noosa Hinterland and the Mary Valley; as well as more than 100 kilometres of beaches stretching through the coastal towns of Caloundra, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Coolum Beach and Rainbow Beach.
The Sunshine Coast offers something for everyone. Bushwalk through the ancient mountain landscapes and sub tropical rainforests. Visit attractions such as UnderWater World, Australia Zoo, The Ginger Factory, Aussie World and Big Kart Track, to name just a few! Tee off on a championship golf course, discover the vast array of shopping options or sample delicious award winning cuisine!
Wonderful Beach: La Côte d’Azur
Everyone wants to go to France. And people do because it’s the most visited country in the world but they generally go in Paris or big cities.
But do you know the South of France? It’s called “La Côte d’Azur” and it’s also very popular. It’s popular because it’s always very warm (and not only in summer like Paris for instance) and there are so many nice beaches.
The picture below is taken from Nice, in the South of France:

Looks incredible isn’t it? A perfect mix between big city and wonderful beach.
So indeed it’s not the empty beach you can dream of when you think about paradise islands but it’s so good to go the a beautiful beach with clear blue water during the day, to enjoy the sun and farniente all day long.
Then it’s the night you can enjoy the city life and the night clubs (also very popular with many famous guest DJs).
So it’s definitely not the Great Barrief Beach or the Costa Blanca Beach but it’s another great beach that i’d like to go to!
Ahh the world is really big and wonderful

Many people are in tunnel mode nowadays and time is really luxury.
Well, not anymore. Here are 6 facts that should be helpful to gain more time:

- Optimize your cooking time: shop only once or twice a week. Cook simple and easy things.
- Delegate the dust cleaning tasks: do you have money to hire someone? If not, ask for help to your family.
- Don’t spend too much time watching TV: unless you really like it and you do it on purpose, TV watching is very time consuming and may be very counter productive to spend time with your family.
